Deadly Boss Mods
Deadly Boss Mods saves your ass during boss fights inside a raid. It will tell you when Moroes is about to vanish... when Shade of Aran is about to Flame Wreath (ie don't move!).

Group Calendar
Group Calendar changes your in game clock (above your mini map) to a calendar of events. Click on each upcoming raid/event in the calendar to register your attendance. Group Calendar will also prompt you in game when event is about to start. And if your professions have long cooldowns, you'll also be reminded when to go craft your next piece of Shadowcloth (or do your next Transmute etc).

Omen Threat Meter
Omen shows you the threat of all party/raid members and allows you to monitor your threat during combat. The command to show/hide Omen is "/omen toggle".

Decursive
Decursive displays as a bunch of little squares next to your minimap. When someone is diseased, cursed etc a square will pop up red. Click on the red square to automatically remove the debuff from that player. Too easy! Only download this mod if your class has some kind of ability to clense.

Pally Power
Pally Power is an add-on that provides an interactive and easy to use interface that allows you to control assignments of blessings for yourself and, if you are a party leader or an assistant, for other paladins in your group or raid.

Useful Mods

Atlas
Atlas is an image viewer. It includes a map for every instance in the game. Each map is marked with the locations of bosses and other points of interest. Atlas also includes maps of battlegrounds, dungeon locations, flight points, and outdoor raid bosses.

Atlasloot Enhanced
AtlasLoot Enhanced is an UI mod allowing for loot tables of bosses to be browsed whenever needed within the game. It can access full item tooltips, show drop rates, allow items to be chat linked and to use the dressing room.

Recount
Recount is a damage meter that is designed with being a raid analysis tool and get better information on you can improve player’s performance. This is achieved via using graphs to better convey information than normal to show time based data or pie charts to get a better sense of proportions.

Auctioneer
Auctioneer is an addon that allows you to view information about an item that may be useful in helping you determine what it's worth.

Straight out of the box, Auctioneer knows much about many items in the game, and will tell you many things about the item when you move your mouse over the item in the game.

Gatherer
Gatherer is an addon for herbalists, miners and treasure hunters in World of Warcraft. It's main purpose is to track the closest plants, deposits and treasure locations on your minimap.

Titan Panel
Titan Panel adds a control panel bar on the top and/or bottom of the screen and allows a framework for extensive plugin support.

Heal Bot
Useful mod for healers

Trivia Bot
Trivia is a fun trivia bot which gives you something to do while you are doing things such as Grinding or just idling at home while others want to have some fun.


Installing Addons 101

Ok, we've had a lot of people asking questions about this during the game... so read on if you've never installed an addon before.

1. Follow the link for the mod you wish to install and download the addon from the third party website. To my knowledge, all the addons will download as a .zip file.
2. Unzip the .zip file to your desktop.
3. Browse to your /World of Warcraft/Interface/Addons/ folder. It should have some folders inside with the prefix Blizzard already.
3. Open the addon folder on your desktop. If there's one folder inside, copy that folder to your Addons/ directory. If they're a bunch of folders but no files (like Deadly Boss Mods and Decursive), copy all the folders to your Addons/ directory. If there's a bunch of files (like Omen and Group Calendar), copy the folder you unzipped into the Addons/ directory.
